Happy Halloween to our Ghost Apes

To celebrate the spooky season this half-term, hundreds of gorillas and baboons have taken to the tree-tops and let out their best ghoulish shrieks and screams with us.

Tribes across our 28 leafy hangouts have conquered their fears, negotiating the tricks in our crossings and taking on our mind-boggling high rope obstacles. The treat comes at the end of each site with a trip down our epic wind-in-your-face zip-wires!

Now here’s a terrifying fact. There’s just 30 days left this year until we close the forest doors to our Tree Top Adventure and Forest Segway experiences.

The good news is that mini Tarzans can still take to the trees this winter as we’ve handpicked a number of Tree Top Junior adventures to stay open all year-round.

Our Alice Holt, Black Park, Cannock Chase, Moors Valley and Sherwood Pines Tree Top Junior courses will stay open during December and January, so start planning your family day out with Go Ape – just don’t forget a pair of gloves!

Halloween is just an orangutan’s arm away

It’s the season of shrieks and screams. Perfect your cackles and squeaks 30 feet up in our tree-tops.

The combination of glorious sunshine and a countryside ablaze with reds, oranges, yellows and browns. Air fresh but without a chill.

Our leafy hideouts are bursting with life – brighter, crisper and more vibrant than ever. The best time of year to live life adventurously!

Unleash your Go Ape spirit, explore the forest floor on our epic segways or let your Mini Tarzans loose on Tree Top Junior this Halloween season.

The Big Banana Relay Comes To An End.

Wrapup copy

With 2014 nearly wrapped up, our incredible charity partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust is drawing to a close.

What started as an idea for a few of the Go Ape Bedgebury team to walk, cycle and hitch the length and breadth of Britain, evolved into a company-wide challenge for the Teenage Cancer Trust this summer.

The Relay kicked off on Saturday 14th June at Leeds Castle and has travelled across the width and Breadth of Britain- with some detours across the globe on the way. The banana has travelled in an array of imaginative forms of transport from helicopters to kayaks, wheelbarrows to tanks, go-karts to hot air balloons, fire engines to Boris bikes- we’ve even broken the space hopper world record and sent the banana into space!

It’s been a crazy 3 months and hats off to all the sites for many impressive and original stunts raising funds for Teenage Cancer Trust. It’s certainly proof that Go Ape staff take ‘Living Life Adventurously’ very seriously! Not only do we want to thank those who took part in all of our charity adventures, but to everyone who supported us in our fundraising efforts so here’s a BIG THANK YOU from all the hairy Gorillas at Go Ape.

Let that trick turn into a treat this Halloween

There’s no feeling quite like waiting at your neighbour’s door and screaming “trick or treat” as you happily receive copious amounts of sweets and chocolate.

But as our childhood becomes a thing of the past so, unfortunately, does the tradition of trick or treating. This Halloween allow yourself that childhood memory once more with Go Ape and head down to the Forest for some Halloween trick or treating.

Treat your loved ones to some tree times and make it a Halloween full of laughter. Or, for those of you feeling particularly in the spirit of Halloween why not trick friends into conquering their fears. Get them up in the trees – we are pretty sure that by the end those shrieks and screams they let out will be one of joy rather than fear.

Go on… Let that trick turn into a treat this Halloween.
